The Restart Scheme

CMT Services deliver the Restart Scheme on behalf of Seetec Plus in Somerset

If you’re out of work, the Restart Scheme will help you build your confidence, skills and find a job that is right for you.
Your personal Employment Advisor will work closely with you, creating a tailored plan to help you every step of the way. This includes:

  • Identify the right job goal
  • Update and re-write your CV
  • Ensure working will make you financially better off
  • Access financial support for training or travel
  • Submit a standout application
  • Practice for an interview
  • Celebrate when you start your new job

Once you’re in work, we’ll help you settle into your new role and can assist with benefits, training, career progression… and much more.

If you feel life is holding you back in any way, we’ll put you in touch with specialists who can help. From money, housing or travel worries to health, wellbeing, family or lifestyle concerns, whatever your circumstances, we’ll support you to feel good and get life back on track.

Getting online

If you don’t have access to a laptop, PC or phone, or simply don’t feel confident using IT, we’ll help you get online quickly by giving you equipment, data and digital training! Your local JCP will be able to set you up on the scheme
